I was invited to the tasting of Flavours of the World at Park Plaza sometime ago… I loved the food there when I went for the brunch once so the expectations were pretty high when I went in and I am happy to report that the food did not disappoint. I have been wanting to write this post since so long but everytime I look at pictures I want to post all of them so I have decided to let the pictures do the talking yet again with some captions from me 🙂
The main course which had Thai curries, stuffed zucchini, mixed saag (which was very good), Kadi pakodi, Dal Kabuli in veg and lam curry, chicken curry in non veg
Lamb Curry this for me was the dish of the day, loved loved loved it.. such delicate balance of flavours and the lamb was melt in the mouth soft
Flavours of the World as you can see tries and covers the food from around the world… Prominently North Western Frontier Province and the rest of India, South East Asian, South & North America and Mediterranean region in the form of live chef stations and grills and also hot and cold buffet stations. In addition of this there are also a variety of desserts to try (which we skipped as in the last brunch the only thing that didn’t impress me too much were the desserts). The festival is running all through Feb to April for Saturday dinners, my suggestion go with a group and a huge appetite, the food is good and the variety huge…
My mouth is watering looking at this post. Am glad the festival is on till April – enough time to go try it out 🙂
