What its day 7 already? Time flew this time… a week just got over without me realizing it at all and like they say its best to end the meal with a dessert we end our marathon with something sweet too, a sweet parantha. The memories of this parantha for me go back to my badi mummy (granny, mothers mom). I remember we running up to her asking for gud paranthas and she taking her mortar and grinding the badaam, cashew in it slowly adding the jaggery to it and we watching with fascination while the nuts turn into powder and slowly into a goey mass to be stuffed into yummy sweet paranthas
Recipe – Meetha Gud ka parantha (nani ki recipe maa se bhi bahtar … granny’s recipe even better than mom’s)
What I used (into how many ever paranthas u want)
Yummy!!! Is this anyway similar to poli or am I confused? Either way, looks great, and I want to try it out soonest!
it probably is but this is made out of atta rather than maida
